The treatment begins with you sending us a sample of your hair. To do this, you must not wash your hair for 24 hours. After the appropriate time has passed, you will gently comb your fingers through your hair, without ripping at it or pulling it roughly. To better diagnose your condition, we need to see the state of your weakest hairs. When you have collected ten to fifteen hairs in your hand, place them carefully into a little plastic bag, and send it to our lab. Please include a brief description of your problem along with a best time and way to reach you. Once we receive your hair, one of our specialists will put it through microscopic analysis and contact you to conduct a consultation. During the consultation, the doctor will discuss your results, go over your history and lifestyle. Since it will be a phone consultation, and the doctor can not see you, please be as honest as you can about your problems. When the doctor has a clear picture of what is going on, he can better diagnose your problem. As soon as a working diagnosis is established, our specialist will prescribe a custom course of treatment.
